Poker Hand Rankings

The first and highest ranking in the game is the Royal flush. The Royal flush is the rarest ranking in poker, and it is the one that beats all others. It consists of five cards in descending order that have the same color and suit. In this case, the Ace is high. The next ranking is the straight flush. The straight flush is similar to the Royal flush, only it is different in that the Ace is low in this case. The cards can be any cards in ascending or descending order that have the same color and suit.

After the flushes we have the hand those consists of four cards that bear the same value. This consists of four cards that have the same value. There can be no ties, since the player who has the cards with the higher value wins. The remaining fifth card has no significance. Next we find the Full house. This hand ranking is three cards with the same value and another pair of cards bearing the same value. If two players in the game have a full house, then the winner is the one that bears the higher set of three.
